World Communications Day Homily

While giving my homily on World Communications Day, which in Canada falls on the Ascension of the Lord, I announced that, today, I would begin a blog. Thus, it seemed fitting that this first blog post should make available the text of the homily, which can be accessed here.

One Response to World Communications Day Homily

  1. David Dayler says:

Mark, thank you so much for this wonderful, insightful homily on Social Networking and the dissemination of the Gospel. We tend to forget that in the ‘marketplace’ of the world of technology there is fertile ground for both spreading the good news of the Gospel and living out the Gospel message. We hear, over and over, of the dangers and the negative qualities of technology that it is easy to forget that it is in fact yet one more way we have of sharing and living out our Christian calling.
